The Desjardins Foundation is inviting students from all over Quebec to apply for a scholarship now.
Scholarships offered at all levels, regardless of field of study, range from $ 1,000 to $ 5,000.
Impacts of the pandemic
The category added last year was renewed this year to help young people who are reorienting or returning to school as a result of a pandemic. The call for applications will be closed on 31 March 2022.
“The effects of the pandemic continue to affect young people, while they still feel demotivated and concerned about their career choices. It is important to continue our commitment to them to enable them to reach their full potential. Through study, these young people give themselves the opportunity to achieve their ambitions and make a positive contribution to their community. With our scholarship programs, we want to show them that we are here for them, that we believe in them and in their ability to implement their future projects, ”explains Nancy Lee, director of the Desjardins Foundation.
Several scholarship programs are offered
By submitting an application, the student automatically has access to several scholarship programs offered by Desjardins, including the Desjardins Foundation programs and several caisses. This year, the Desjardins Foundation program will be awarded $ 2.5 million to students who show perseverance or are involved in their community.
