The answer from Crous usually comes within 30 days. A grant agreement notice sent before confirmation of your registration at the facility does not constitute a promise of payment. The latter is conditional on effective registration at the establishment. The notification must be submitted to the school’s school department when enrolling, in particular to allow exemption from the payment of the enrollment fee and the student and campus life allowance (CVEC). From June to October, your future university will confirm your registration with CROUS.

What scholarship income? Student grant conditions

As already mentioned, the student grant is awarded on the basis of the total gross income of the student’s parents. In addition, accounting points (calculated on the basis of the number of dependent children and the distance between the place of study and the place of residence) apply to the calculation of the resource ceiling: 2 points for a dependent child, 4 points for student children and 1 or 2 points. points depending on the distance between the place of study and the family house. If the set does not have a charging point, you may not earn more than € 33,100 in order to take advantage of the first degree scholarship, which is set at € 1,042. However, this limit can be moved to € 95,610 in total gross income if the household has 17 charging points.

To receive the largest amount of the scholarship, the income may not exceed EUR 250 without charging points and EUR 4,500 with 17 charging points.

In the application for the academic year 2021-2022, the income for the year 2019 (tax assessment 2020) is taken into account. The range of resources is the same as for the academic year 2020-2021.
