The Héritage Bas-Saint-Laurent (HBSL), in collaboration with McGill University, is launching a call for applications to support the retention and / or return to the region of bilingual health and social care professionals. scholarships.
These scholarships are intended for students who will be enrolled in the full-time form of study in a study program related to health or social services during the school year 2022-2023. Candidates must be able to offer services in both French and English, they must show that they like to get involved and that they want to return to practice in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region.
There are currently two categories of scholarships on offer. The first is for students enrolled in an educational institution outside the region. The amount of each scholarship is determined by the level of the study program ($ 10,000 university and $ 5,000 college). The second is for students enrolled in an educational institution in Bas-Saint-Laurent ($ 5,000 university and $ 2,500 college). The third category, dedicated exclusively to students in programs leading to a diploma in vocational studies (DEP), will be launched in the autumn of 2022.
