Although he survived a no-confidence vote, Boris Johnson’s position as head of the British government is considered very uncertain. In the absence of a clear successor within the Conservative Party, more names are circulating than potential candidates.

Rishi Sunak

The Treasury Office, the first Hindu to hold the post, was once a leader, but lost ground due to his wealth and the tax measures of his wealthy wife, whom she frowned at in the midst of a power crisis.

In 2016, Mr Javid (52) voted to stay in the European Union because of economic benefits, but later sided with Brexit.

– Priti Patel

Interior Minister Priti Patel (50) is the most conservative of ministers. As an ardent supporter of Brexit, she also voted against same-sex marriages.
