Huawei Morocco indicators partnerships with universities within the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra area

Huawei Morocco reaffirms its commitment to supporting ICT talent by announcing a strategic partnership with Mohammed V University in Rabat, as well as with other universities in the Rabat-Salé and Kenitra region. These are Ibn Tofail University of Kenitra, International University of Rabat and Abulcasis International University of Health Sciences – UIASS.

The aim of these strategic partnerships is to support different ICT talents through the opening of a teacher training center. The main goal of this center will be to meet the different needs of partner universities in the field of ICT education (BIG DATA, CLOUD COMPUTING, artificial intelligence, etc.).

Speaking on this occasion, Mr Faustin Xu, Deputy CEO of Huawei Morocco, said: Huawei has always been driven by the prospect of promoting ICT skills in quality education services in Morocco. More than ever, we recognize the strategic importance of the integration of digital technologies in academia and science, and we are therefore pleased to sign these various partnerships, which will benefit teachers and students.

Mr Jerry Cui, CEO of Huawei Morocco, assured that the company pays special attention to the transfer of ICT knowledge and skills to its various stakeholders: efforts by public officials to support the development of an ICT talent ecosystem and to make many digital areas it supports. The realization of these partnerships is the culmination of a fruitful relationship of trust and sharing between Huawei and its partners and is an important milestone for our growing cooperation in the field of education. »

It should be noted that these partnerships are in line with the activities related to the regional meetings organized by Mohamed V University under the National Plan for Accelerating the Transformation of the Ecosystem of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation (ESRI PACT 2030).

Note that too Huawei pays special attention to the transfer of knowledge and skills in the field of information and communication technologies between various players in the education and research system. Huawei’s strategic vision is to develop several programs for students and administrative and educational managers to strengthen their digital skills. The partners of the Huawei ICT Academy are 54 universities in Morocco. In addition, Huawei ICT Academy has trained at least 5,000 students and certified more than 1,700 students.
