Educational 12 months 2022-2023: The Kingdom of Morocco supplies Burkine Faso with 120 (120) scholarships

The Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) has the honor of informing candidates for the 2022 school-leaving examination provided by the Kingdom of Morocco to Burkina Faso, one hundred and twenty (120) scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023, of which one hundred (100) scholarships will be awarded graduates of the 2022 session and twenty (20) scholarships winners of Morocco and candidates for medical specialization.

Of the 100 scholarships, forty-three (43) scholarships awarded for study in so-called “restricted access” courses will be divided as follows:

06 scholarships to study in preparatory classes at the Grandes Ecoles of Engineers;

- 05 medical scholarships;

- 06 scholarships for the study of paramedical sciences;

- 10 scholarships to study business and management sciences;

- 14 scholarships to study engineering and technology sciences;

- 01 scholarship for the study of agronomic and veterinary sciences;

- Architecture scholarship.

The process of awarding scholarships from the Kingdom of Morocco for 2022-2023 will take place in two phases:

- the first stage of pre-selection on the basis of marks of the Terminale class;

- second phase (final) based on marks and average obtained in the school-leaving examination.

1- Eligibility conditions

Applicants for these scholarships must meet the following conditions:

- have a maximum of 22 years for general and technical school-leaving candidates and 23 years for professional school-leaving candidates as at 31 December 2022;

1.1- Pre-selection phase

 Candidates for graduation series C and D:

- earned an average greater than or equal to 12/20 in the final year in preparatory classes for Grandes Ecoles and medical schools;

- have earned an average of greater than or equal to 10.50 / 20 in the last year for Bac Series C candidates applying for other courses;

- have an average greater than or equal to 11/20 in the final year for Bac Series D candidates who are applying for other courses.

 Candidates for the bachelor’s series E, F, GC, MVA, MAVELEC and Structure Métallique:

- have reached an average greater than or equal to 10.50 / 20 in the last year.

 Candidates for the G2 bachelor series:

- have reached an average greater than or equal to 11/20 in the last year.

1.2- Final selection phase

- graduated from the year 2022 in the first round in one of the following series: C, D, E, F, G2, GC, MVA, MAVELEC; and metal structure.

 Candidates for graduation series C and D:

- obtained an average greater than or equal to 15/20 for preparatory classes for Grandes Ecoles and 16/20 for medical schools;

- achieved an average greater than or equal to 13/20 in the graduation series C and an average greater than or equal to 14/20 in the graduation series D for other sectors.

 Candidates for the bachelor’s series E, F, GC, MVA, MAVELEC and Structure Métallique:

- achieved an average greater than or equal to 13/20.

 Candidates for the G2 bachelor series:

- achieved an average greater than or equal to 14/20.

2- File composition

2.1- Pre-selection phase

The application files must be in two (02) copies and are composed as follows:

1. a handwritten application stamped 200 F, clearly indicating the candidate’s contact details (address, tel., E-mail), addressed to the Minister for Higher Education, Research and Innovation and in the order in which the courses and facilities required are preferred;

2. an information sheet that can be obtained from the CIOSPB and duly completed;

3. extract from the birth certificate;

4. Burkina nationality certificate;

5. two (2) current passport photos with the last name and first name (s) of the candidate on the back;

6. final transcript of the class.

2.2- Final selection phase

The application files must be in two (02) copies and are composed as follows:

1. a certified photocopy of the passport;

2. a certified photocopy of the school-leaving certificate;

3. a certified photocopy of the high school diploma;

4. a certificate of visit and counter-visit of less than three months attesting that the candidate is free from any contagious disease, issued by the National Center for University Works (CENEM).

Only pre-selected candidates will be invited to provide additional documents for the final selection.

The deadline for submitting applications for pre-selection is June 17, 2022 until 2:30 p.m.

Note:

- any incomplete file is inadmissible.

- we point out that any move by the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI) is final and that any withdrawal systematically leads to the loss of the Moroccan scholarship.
